Soccer Game Preview: Mt. Zion vs. Douglas County

The Mt. Zion Eagles will head out to take on the Douglas County Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mt. Zion has given up an average of 3.8 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Wednesday. Mt. Zion lost 6-2 to Coosa. Mt. Zion just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Douglas County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on Chapel Hill with a sharp 5-1 victory on Tuesday. That four goal margin sets a new team best for the Tigers this season.

The win got Douglas County back to even at 4-4. As for Mt. Zion, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
