Easton Area put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Freedom Patriots, sneaking past 17-14. The 17-point effort marked the Rovers' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Easton Area had a senior duo take command as Cole Ordway rushed for 94 yards and one score and Chris Martinez rushed for 71 yards and one touchdown.

Easton Area's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Freedom, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.

Easton Area wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 51-14 victory against Nazareth Area on the 24th. As for Freedom, they have also already played their next game, a 42-14 loss against Liberty on the 25th.
