There's no place like home for Greenbrier, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with an 8-5 victory over the Effingham County Rebels on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Wolfpack as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Ava Hamilton was excellent, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. Maggie Bryant was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Greenbrier's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Effingham County, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 13-5.

Greenbrier will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rebels: the pair will be back at it again later today.
