Basketball Recap: Columbus Christian Comes Up Short

Columbus Christian lost against Medora last Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Columbus Christian Crusaders were outmatched by the Medora Hornets and fell 76-35.

Jaxon Nugen continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Medora, going 9 of 17 on his way to 29 points and four steals. The dominant performance gave Nugen a new career-high in points. Kade Wright was another key player, going 5 for 8 en route to 14 points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Columbus Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Medora, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-3.

Columbus Christian will host Pleasant View Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Medora has already played their next game (against West Washington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
