Football Recap: Hueneme Comes Up Short

Hueneme had lost seven straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 1-9 to make it eight. They were beaten by the Agoura Chargers 33-6. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 818th, while the Chargers are ranked 203rd).

As for Agoura, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 8-2. Considering they have won six games by more than 24 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Gavin Gray continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 155 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. What's more, he racked up 153.3 passer rating, the most he's had since back in August.

As of now, neither Hueneme nor Agoura have any future games scheduled.
