Basketball Recap: Ainsley Jacobson Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Tiftarea Academy

Brookwood won the last time they faced Tiftarea Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Brookwood Warriors came out on top against the Tiftarea Academy Panthers by a score of 52-45. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Brookwood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ainsley Jacobson led the charge by putting up nine points in addition to six assists and five steals. That's the most steals Jacobson has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Rhodes, who put up 13 points.

Brookwood pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Tiftarea Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.

Coming up, Brookwood will square off against Deerfield-Windsor at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tiftarea Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
