Elite has gone 3-0 against Leroy Greene Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Elite Eagles will take on the Leroy Greene Academy Lions at 6:00 p.m. Elite has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 3.

Last Friday, Elite took a blow against St. Vincent de Paul, falling 67-7.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Leroy Greene Academy). They breezed by Creative Connections Arts Academy to the tune of 60-15 back in December of 2024. With the Lions ahead 29-9 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Leroy Greene Academy found their leader in sophomore Anaya Alston, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 boards. That makes it five consecutive games in which Alston has scored at least a third of Leroy Greene Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Nevaeh Cedillo, who posted 19 points and three steals.

Leroy Greene Academy's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Elite, their loss dropped their record down to 1-14.

Elite beat Leroy Greene Academy 35-25 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Elite since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
