Murrieta Mesa's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Temecula Valley, they moved to 7-8-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Everything went Temecula Valley's way against Murrieta Mesa when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Temecula Valley made off with a 6-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Temecula Valley since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
