Baseball Recap: Dyett Comes Up Short

Dyett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Carver Challengers. On the bright side, the two- run effort marked the Eagles' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Dyett's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Carver, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Carver will host Air Force Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Dyett will be paying especially close attention to the Challengers' contest: after the Challengers face off against Kelly, they'll take on Dyett again at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
