Basketball Recap: Rim of the World Takes a Loss

Rim of the World was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They were dealt a 55-16 loss at the hands of the Notre Dame Titans. While losing is never fun, the Fighting Scots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1320th, while the Titans are ranked 604th).

Despite the loss, Rim of the World still got an impressive performance from Jordan Dever, who posted ten points. That was a full 62.5% of Rim of the World's points, marking the third time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

Rim of the World's defeat dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Notre Dame, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rim of the World will square off against Bloomington at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Notre Dame, they will take on Jurupa Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
