Softball Recap: Crisp County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Fitzgerald on Monday, Crisp County came back down to earth. The Cougars fell just short of the Worth County Rams by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. Cougars fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Rams since Tuesday.

Crisp County's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Worth County, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 10-17 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Crisp County will venture away from home to face off against Hawkinsville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars are facing the Red Devils at the right time seeing as the Red Devils are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Worth County, they will face off against Cook at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
