With a playoff win on the line, Mohawk Area rose to the challenge on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers, sneaking past 17-14. The win was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won four contests in a row.

Mohawk Area had a senior duo take command as Joe Nail picked up 75 receiving yards and a pair of scores and Bobby Fadden threw for 139 yards and two touchdowns. Fadden's passing game has become a key predictor of the Warriors' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 110 or higher, but only 2-5 otherwise.

Mohawk Area now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-6.
