Baseball Recap: Barry County Christian Eagles vs. Kalamazoo HomeSchool Cougars

Barry County Christian lost to Kalamazoo HomeSchool back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 6-5. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leo Gerst made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Nolan Perron, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Barry County Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9-1. As for Kalamazoo HomeSchool, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-6 record.
