With a playoff win on the line, Citizens Christian Academy rose to the challenge on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Westwood Wildcats a 15-0 shutout. Considering the Patriots have won 15 games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Emma Gourley, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, six RBI, and three runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. Cadence Cravey was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs and one stolen base.

Citizens Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Westwood, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

As of now, neither Citizens Christian Academy nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
