Jackson has gone a perfect 10-0 against Rutland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Red Devils will face off against the Hurricanes at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Jackson has three straight victories, Rutland has 12 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Jackson is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Westside with a sharp 18-0 win on Wednesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Red Devils with their most commanding win of the season.

Pike County hit Rutland with a five-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hurricanes came up short against the Pirates, falling 13-3.

Rutland saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Floyd, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was Floyd's first of the season.

Jackson's victory bumped their record up to 11-15. As for Rutland, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-12.

Jackson got the 'W' when the teams last played back in March against Rutland by a conclusive 11-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
