Johnson proved they can win big last Tuesday (they won by six) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Butler Bulldogs 3-2. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Panthers were the better team in the second half.

They hit Butler with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alijah Haskell, Natrez Cook, and Joshua Anderson.

Johnson's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Johnson wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Glenn Hills on the 4th. As for Butler, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Thomson on the 4th.
