Softball Recap: Lincoln Comes Up Short

Lincoln was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-7 to the Kennedy Commanders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Commanders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-7 last Friday.

Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Kennedy, their record now sits at 3-6-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will face off against Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on the 19th. As for Kennedy, they will challenge Denver North at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Commanders surely won't give up without a fight.
