Baseball Recap: Fulton Comes Up Short

Fulton fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Auburn on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Maroons by a score of 7-6. The Red Raiders have struggled against the Maroons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Fulton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Auburn, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11.

Fulton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Auburn, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against East Syracuse-Minoa at 4:30 p.m. on June 5.
