Grand Junction Central won the last time they faced Castle View and things went their way on Friday too. The Warriors walked away with a 6-2 win over the Sabercats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Sophie Aragon spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on three hits and racked up 11 Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Raygan Ball, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in October of 2024. Another player making a difference was Chloe Redway, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Grand Junction Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Castle View, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-10.

Grand Junction Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 18-6 win against Niwot on the 27th. As for Castle View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 6-0 victory against Palisade on the 27th.
