Mountain View waltzed into their matchup on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They managed a 43-39 win over the Santa Teresa Saints. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-51 last Saturday.

Santa Teresa lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Dahlia Daboul, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 boards. Daboul has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Akai McGee was another key player, putting up six points along with eight rebounds and five steals.

Mountain View's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Santa Teresa, their record now sits at 8-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain View will venture away from home to face off against Palo Alto at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Santa Teresa, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Willow Glen at 1:00 p.m. on January 11th.
