Pleasant Valley faced Davenport North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Spartans walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pleasant Valley.

Pleasant Valley pushed their record up to 20-2-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Davenport North, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-5-2.

Coming up, Pleasant Valley will challenge Prairie on Thursday. Prairie will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Pleasant Valley surely won't give up without a fight. Davenport North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
