Recap: Calvary Christian Academy Conquerors vs. Clearfield Alliance Christian
The Calvary Christian Academy Conquerors entered their tilt with Clearfield Alliance Christian with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Calvary Christian Academy took down the 40-22 on Tuesday. The squad ran away with 30 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.
Macayla Mills was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Calvary Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Aubrey Anderson, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Calvary Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. As for Clearfield Alliance Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian Academy will face off against the at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Clearfield Alliance Christian, they and the Bluejays will face off at 5:30 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
