Soccer Recap: Castaic Find Success

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Castaic walked away with it. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Castaic Coyotes who were credited with the victory on Wednesday. The Castaic Coyotes got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Montclair Cavaliers's two.

Clair Silvestro and Leila Sadra scored both of Castaic's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Castaic's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Montclair, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-5.

Coming up, Castaic will take on Glendora at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Glendora will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Castaic surely won't give up without a fight. Montclair does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
