Baseball Recap: Creston Comes Up Short

After flying high against Nodaway Valley last Wednesday, Creston came back down to earth. The Panthers came up short against the Harlan Cyclones on Tuesday, falling 18-3. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Cyclones from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Creston now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Harlan, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cyclones beat Creston by a score of 20-11 later that day.
