Oologah had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Perkins-Tryon on Saturday. The Mustangs' pitchers stepped up to hand the Demons a 6-0 shutout. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Oologah has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Perkins-Tryon, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
