Basketball Game Preview: Meyersdale Red Raiders vs. Everett Warriors

Meyersdale is 0-4 against Everett since December of 2023 but things could change on Wednesday. The Meyersdale Red Raiders are taking a road trip to challenge the Everett Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Meyersdale will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Meyersdale is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took down Turkeyfoot Valley Area 55-41 on Monday.

Meanwhile, Everett was able to grind out a solid victory over McConnellsburg on Monday, taking the game 54-41. The team ran away with 42 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.

Everett pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Meyersdale, their record now sits at 6-11.

Things could have been worse for Meyersdale, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 59-40 loss to Everett in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. Can Meyersdale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
