Softball Recap: North Union Extends Winning Streak to Three

North Union had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They never let the Spencer Tigers get on the board and left with a 6-0 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

North Union's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Spencer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

North Union has already played their next contest, a 7-4 defeat against Forest City on the 20th. Spencer has also already played their next match (against Emmetsburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
