Softball Recap: Elkhorn South Comes Up Short

Elkhorn South and Millard North squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Elkhorn South had to settle for second. They came up short against the Mustangs, falling 14-6. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent defeat being a 12-0 loss on Wednesday.

Isabelle Jackson made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ella Fowler, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run.

Elkhorn South's defeat dropped their record down to 25-14. As for Millard North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 21 of their last 22 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 35-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Elkhorn South nor Millard North have any future games scheduled.
