Softball Game Preview: Woodland Wildcats vs. Chapel Hill Panthers

The Woodland Wildcats will square off against the Chapel Hill Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses dating back to last season for Woodland and five for Chapel Hill dating back to last season.

Woodland fell victim to Cedartown and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Chapel Hill took on Temple on Thursday. The Panthers lost 14-8 to the Tigers.

Jayda Young was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Taryn Stewart, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one run.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Chapel Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
