Soccer Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Stockdale's Winning Streak

After soaring to six goals the game before, Stockdale was a bit more limited in their matchup on Tuesday. They lost 5-0 to the Liberty Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 166th, while the Patriots are ranked fourth).

With the defeat, Stockdale broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-2-1. As for Liberty, they pushed their record up to 8-1-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Stockdale wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Frontier on the 9th. Liberty has also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Independence on the 9th.
