The result was an unpleasant reminder to Scripps Ranch of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2025.

Scripps Ranch now has a losing record of 8-9-4. As for Rancho Bernardo, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-6-2 record this season.

Scripps Ranch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rancho Bernardo, they will face off against Santa Fe Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Santa Fe Christian's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Rancho Bernardo's offense will have their work cut out for them.
