Design Tech has gone a perfect 4-0 against KIPP Esperanza recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Dragons will take on the Eagles at 6:15 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Design Tech managed to keep up with The Nueva School until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Dragons came up short against the Mavericks, falling 3-0. The loss was Design Tech's first of the season.

Meanwhile, KIPP Esperanza lost 10-1 to Summit Shasta on Friday. That's two games in a row now that KIPP Esperanza have lost by exactly nine goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Genesis Martinez Aguilar, which was the first she's scored this season.

KIPP Esperanza's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Design Tech, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Everything went Design Tech's way against KIPP Esperanza when the teams last played back in December of 2025, as Design Tech made off with a 9-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
