Pierce County put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lakeside Panthers a 4-0 shutout. Those four runs were actually the fewest the Bears have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Pierce County's win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Coming up, Pierce County is taking a road trip to face off against South Effingham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeside, they have already played their next game, an 11-1 defeat against Glascock County on the 8th.
