Soccer Recap: Stephens County Comes Up Short

Stephens County lost against Monroe Area back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Stephens County Indians took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stephens County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Monroe Area, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Coming up, Stephens County will take on Commerce at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monroe Area, they will challenge Oglethorpe County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
