Basketball Recap: Wyoming Area Comes Up Short on the Road Against North Pocono

Wyoming Area kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They were dealt a 64-22 loss at the hands of the North Pocono Trojans. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Jailynn Park was Wyoming Area's leading scorer, having posted 12 points. Londyn Sobeck held things down on the boards with six rebounds.

Wyoming Area has already played their next game, a 38-36 victory against Montrose on the 29th. As for North Pocono, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 52-36 win against Honesdale on the 29th.
