Truckee faced North Tahoe in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Wolverines won by a goal and slipped past the Lakers 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Truckee were the better team in the second half.

The victory made it two in a row for Truckee and bumps their season record up to 10-1.
