Soccer Game Preview: Highland vs. Ridgeview

The Highland Scots will head out on the road to face off against the Ridgeview Wolf Pack at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Highland's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Tehachapi. Considering the Scots have won 14 contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Tehachapi with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rachelle Baeza, Madison Flores, and Melissa Flores.

Meanwhile, it was close, but back in December of 2024 Ridgeview sidestepped Tehachapi for a 1-0 win.

Ridgeview is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Highland, their victory bumped their record up to 16-1.

Highland might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Ridgeview in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Highland avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
