Softball Recap: MFL MarMac Takes a Loss

MFL MarMac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They fell 5-1 to North Fayette Valley. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against North Fayette Valley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-2 on Monday.

MFL MarMac's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for North Fayette Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-13 record this season.

MFL MarMac wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-3 victory against Central on the 2nd. As for North Fayette Valley, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-6 defeat against New Hampton on the 1st.
