Soccer Recap: Chowchilla Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Chowchilla was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They came up short against the Yosemite Badgers, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Tribe in their matchups with the Badgers: they've now lost three in a row.

Chowchilla's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11-1. As for Yosemite, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9-1 record this season.

Looking ahead, Chowchilla will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Fowler at 5:45 p.m. Fowler will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Chowchilla surely won't give up without a fight. As for Yosemite, they are taking a road trip to square off against Minarets at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Minarets is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.
