Softball Recap: Georgia School for Innovation & Classics Victorious

Georgia School for Innovation & Classics's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Wilkinson County Warriors a 15-0 shutout. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 12 runs or more this season.

Abigail Brown (Sr) made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Brown (Sr) was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

In other pitching news, Hailey Prescott (Fr) looked comfortable as she pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Ana Chanin (Sr), who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. Anna-Katherine Stenger (Jr) was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run.
