Baseball Recap: Winchendon Triumphs

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Winchendon had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They walked away with a 14-10 victory over the St. Paul's Big Red. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Green Waves.

Winchendon's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for St. Paul's, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-5.

Coming up, Winchendon will challenge Hamden Hall Country Day at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Green Waves 4, the Hornets 2.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. St. Paul's does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
