Soccer Game Preview: Canyon Crest Academy vs. Rancho Buena Vista

Canyon Crest Academy fell victim to La Costa Canyon and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the Mavericks. While losing is never fun, the Ravens can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 612th, while the Mavericks are ranked 215th).

Despite a strong season so far, Rancho Buena Vista has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Carlsbad on Friday. That's two games in a row now that the Longhorns have lost by exactly two goals.

Rancho Buena Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-3. As for Canyon Crest Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
