Southwest Georgia Academy waltzed into their match on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Southland Academy Raiders a 4-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Raiders on September 4th, they had to take a 4-3 defeat.

Southwest Georgia Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Southland Academy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6.

Coincidentally, Southwest Georgia Academy and Southland Academy will both be playing Westwood the next time they take the field. The Raiders will head out to face the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Warriors will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
