Marion has gone a perfect 6-0 against Independence recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Wolves will face off against the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. Marion will be strutting in after a win while Independence will be coming in after a defeat.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Marion and Solon, and Marion kept the tradition alive. Wolves put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday. The win continues a trend for Marion in their matchups with Solon: they've now won nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Independence came up short against Aplington-Parkersburg on Monday, falling 7-1.

Marion's victory bumped their record up to 10-2-8. As for Independence, their loss was their 12th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-15-1.
