Basketball Game Preview: Wallenberg Bulldogs vs. Burton Pumas

The Wallenberg Bulldogs will venture away from home to challenge the Burton Pumas at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Wallenberg came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 39-15 to Balboa. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Buccaneers: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Burton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the Phoenix, posting a 47-7 victory. That's two games straight that the Pumas have won by exactly 40 points.

Burton's win bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Wallenberg, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Wallenberg took a serious blow against Burton in their previous matchup back in January, falling 46-8. Can Wallenberg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
