Sonoraville and Coahulla Creek are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Phoenix will be playing in front of their home fans against the Colts at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams each escaped with close wins against their previous opponents.

Sonoraville was handed a four-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over North Cobb Christian.

Meanwhile, Coahulla Creek narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Dalton Academy 3-2.

Sonoraville has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Coahulla Creek, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.

Sonoraville suffered a grim 8-1 defeat to Coahulla Creek when the teams last played back in March of 2022. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Phoenix were down 4-0.
