Basketball Recap: Perkiomen School Takes a Loss

On Saturday, the Perkiomen School Panthers lost to the Long Island Lutheran Crusaders on the road by a 68-52 margin. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 231st in Pennsylvania, while the Crusaders are ranked first in New York).

This is the second loss in a row for Perkiomen School and nudges their season record down to 2-6. As for Long Island Lutheran, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Perkiomen School will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Agnes Irwin at 4:30 p.m. on January 21, 2025. As for Long Island Lutheran, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-58 win against Perkiomen Valley on the 28th.
