There's no place like home for Heritage, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Calhoun Yellow Jackets on Monday. This was a revenge game for the Generals: when they faced off against the Yellow Jackets last Tuesday, they had to take a 2-1 loss.
Bailee Hollis made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
