Palm Springs extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Shayla Bates. The Indians walked away with a 49-39 win over the Coachella Valley Mighty Arabs on Tuesday with plenty of help from Bates, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 12 rebounds. The matchup was her third in a row with at least 16 points.

Another player making a difference was Bethenny Rivera, who posted eight points in addition to ten boards and five assists. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last three times she's played.

Palm Springs' record now sits at 5-1. As for Coachella Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Palm Springs will host Indio at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coachella Valley, they are taking a road trip to take on La Quinta at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
