Softball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central fell victim to East Laurens and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 17-0 to the Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in August.

Central has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for East Laurens, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 17-0 loss against Bleckley County on the 22nd. As for East Laurens, they have also already played their next matchup, a 12-0 victory against Baldwin on the 22nd.
